DisplayPort vs HDMI

A Guide to Understanding Display Port vs HDMI!

When unpacking your computer, you may be looking for an HDMI port. Many computers, unless they have a designated graphics card, do not have an HDMI port. They do, however, have a DisplayPort.

A DisplayPort looks very similar to an HDMI port, but the DisplayPort only has one slanted end, whereas HDMI has two.

If you have a monitor or a TV that needs an HDMI connection, but your computer does not, you will need to use an adapter. There are many types of DisplayPort adapters and are not excluded to HDMI. Or, you could use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable.
